Sunday’s Spam
Posted by: Rea Maor In: Blog Updates - Sunday, August 19th, 2007“And on the seventh day God ended his work which He had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which He had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it; because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made”
Really? It took Linus only 6 days to write Linux?! Oh well, if it’s a blesses day
I cannot do anything about it, I’ll have to NOT write any new material.
As I write 6 days a week I’ll take Sunday off, and just update you quickly on
this week’s top posts and my thank you list of course.
So, what did we had
1. About Me - I’ve finally found enough time to update this page.
2. Sick of Google AdSense - I’ve decided to abandon the ways of the force, dropping Google
adsense and trying my luck with Private Sponsors.
3. crushed my own RSS feed - it only took 2 extra spaces on 301 redirection
4. New Rules for the Internet: August 2007 - it’s time we make up rules to the web; we can’t
go on running around naked like monkeys.
5. What Your Linux Distro Says About You - what?! Can’t you read?
6. 10 Minutes in a car accident - Toyota Hilux + Mazda 3 = Picasso
7. Lisp is as popular as Harry Potter? - Finally, all hail Lisp.
8. Social News Headlines - an interpretation about headlines
and now to my Weekly “Thank you, will you marry me” list.
1. John Chow - following your idea I’m now 12 dollars down and one great empty ad space up.
2. Tamar Weinberg - Thank You.
3. Alan the Great - you ARE great, spamming me like that with all the wonderful comments.
I would also like to take a moment to tell you about a great friend we’ve lost,
it might sound weird to some of you, but he was like a family member.
This post is dedicated to “Platypus”; he was our family duck for 10 years.
Unfortunately - he died, leaving nothing but lettuce after him.
