well, you can’t be serious…
updates are not ‘tech innovations’, and usually they’re good for you
hdtv boils down to opinions… mine says that hd image is sweet, and you can’t ask phillips/sony/etc for better content…
regarding the other points, i mostly agree (especially on the tv content quality)

now, for my part, i say we don’t need yet another blogger-advisor v0.2 with banners in the header so he makes some profit and criticizes others for paid content, but that’s nothing more than my opinion, i’m not trying to stop you

RM, you say “The Internet made everything free”. Personally I think this is only a temporary phase. Right now the net is in that warm fuzzy zone where everyone can give and take. Soon enough (if not already) we will discover that some of us have an aptitude for developing software that is truly glorious. Some have a lesser talent, and some – like myself – have either no talent or no inclination for the task.
The girl at my favourite cafe makes better coffee than anyone else I know of right now. Should I expect her to serve it up in return for a smile and nothing more? Chances are she’d start some saliva free of charge too.
I use a mix of purchased and freeware on my machine. If the freeware is good and I use it often I’ll send a donation with thanks. That’s only fair, because someone has sat down and created that item with their labour.
The flip side of “It’s all free” is “It’s all mine and I don’t owe anyone”, and that attitude won’t help anyone.
