I’ve finally upgraded to the latest WordPress (13 days after the official release)
it seems to run a lot smoother and indeed has built in support for Widget together
with lots of small fixes and security patches,
I’ve checked most of the site up and it seems nothing was seriously broken from the upgrade
everything is still fully functional, well, except the Comment system, it has the “MyAvatar”
plug-in I’ve installed last week, it seems to be partially broken, some bug with pulling
the default (none picture) image makes it look like a broken file, this should be fixed soon
enough and if not then I’ll just fix it myself, shouldn’t be too hard..
Overall, to those of you who host your own WordPress blog I suggest you move to the
new version, it seems to be stable enough after more than two weeks out.
